Yun Yee SOH
Yun Yee is a Research Assistant focusing on improving outdoor thermal comfort, with particular emphasis on examining the effects of urban greenery on microclimatic conditions and pedestrian-level thermal experience.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and a Master of Urban Planning from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the BEAM team, she conducted urban and neighbourhood-scale planning research at NUS, including mixed-methods studies on walkability for older adults that integrated GIS-based spatial analysis, behavioural observations, and community engagement. She also contributed to a government-commissioned, design-based research project on the redevelopment of Paya Lebar Airbase, supporting master planning, ecological site analysis, and inter-agency coordination.
